Wagon & Surrey Carriage Rides for Small Groups and Couples

Small groups, couples, and individuals are welcome. Here is a short description of what is actually involved in this adventure through the beautiful hillsides of northern Tioga County.

  • Season: June 1st through October 20th

  • Days and Weekend times vary, check for availability.

  • Reservations only

  • Covered wagons depart at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Rides range from 1 hour to 1½ hours depending on rest stops for horses.

  • $20.00 per person. Includes access to Kim's flower gardens and aviary.

  • Upon arrangements ahead of time, we can add a country meal served in the Hemlock Lodge for groups of 10 or more. Ideal for family groups or small get-togethers.

  • Custom pricing depending on activities and group size.

  • Surrey (carriage) rides also available for one or two couples at a time. Surrey rides are $23.00 per person.

Join Lenny & Kim Storms for a wonderful tour through the mountains outside of Wellsboro, PA. You'll ride in either a horse drawn covered wagon or surrey (carriage) through beautiful mountain forests and peaceful meadows, experiencing spectacular mountain views along the way. On top of Tioga County's ancient Appalachian Mountains at an elevation of 2,350 feet, you can see for miles and miles and miles...

Rest at the Storms' mountain house. They call it home, and treat you like it's yours too. The perfect hosts, Lenny & Kim will make your group part of the family during your visit, sharing their own private vista.

You'll have plenty of time to stroll through Kim's exquisite rock and flower gardens that surround their mountain retreat. For those of you that have arranged meals, you'll enjoy a home cooked feast in our Hemlock Lodge, a dining hall with a rustic setting.
